Beijing Day 2

never got around to posting day one but here's some immediate impressions.

1. It's really, really hot here. 100 degrees F plus humidity hot
2. Haven't seen the sun - could be the pollution or just tropical rainforest heat
3. It hits you as soon as you go anywhere outside
4. My 6 year old is blond - we get stopped to have her picture taken and someone tried to hold her hand on a tour today
5. Olympic fever is EVERYWHERE. there are car pool lanes for olympic vehicles. there are signs and banners all over the place.
